Abstract

The rapid urbanization of Lagos State, Nigeria, has catalyzed the development of mixed-use properties that integrate residential, commercial, and sometimes industrial spaces within a single development. This study examines effective strategies for managing these properties, with a focus on the unique challenges faced in Lagos State, including conflicts between various property uses, maintenance complexities, and regulatory adherence. Utilizing a mixed-method approach that includes surveys, interviews, and case studies, this research identifies successful management strategies and provides practical recommendations for property managers, owners, and policymakers aimed at enhancing the management efficiency of mixed-use properties in Lagos State.
