Abstract
Effective project management is critical to the successful execution of architectural projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. This study investigates project management techniques in architecture, with a focus on best practices and challenges encountered by professionals in the field. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, data was collected through structured questionnaires distributed to architects, project managers, and other stakeholders within Nigeria (n = 138). The findings highlight key project management strategies, including resource optimization, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation. The study also identifies prevalent challenges such as inadequate communication, resource constraints, and evolving client demands. Recommendations are provided to enhance project management efficiency, including adopting technology-driven tools, fostering continuous professional development, and establishing clearer communication channels. This research contributes to the body of knowledge on architectural project management by offering practical insights for improving project delivery outcomes.
