Abstract
Urbanization in Mubi metropolis, Adamawa State, has significantly influenced housing quality, shaping both living conditions and urban development patterns. Rapid population growth, driven by migration and natural increase, has intensified pressure on existing housing infrastructure. This has resulted in overcrowding, inadequate sanitation, poor building materials, and the proliferation of informal settlements. While urbanization has stimulated economic activities and expanded access to services, it has also exposed gaps in planning and housing regulation. Many residents face challenges related to affordability, accessibility, and environmental health risks.
