A Critical Study of Local Contents in "Ad-Danul Aswad" (The Black Sheep) by Abdul'aziz Muhammad Salman Alyaqooty

Abstract

اللون المحلي هو من الدراسات النقدية في الأدب. والأدب العربي كان موجودا في المجتمع النيجيري منذ زمن قديم. ولأجل هذا، توجد القصة العربية فيه حوالي القرن السابق، ومع هذا، لم يوجد اللون المحلي في هذه القصص النيجيرية، ولم تهتم به كما ينبغي. ولذلك، كان هناك فرق بيّن بين تلك القصص والمجتمع النيجيري الذي يحتاج إلى العناية به. إذا، تهدف هذه المقالة إلى تقديم اللون المحلي ومفهومه في الأدب العربي، وعرض القصة " الضأن الأسود"، وتعيين اللون المحلي وتصنيفه كما ورد في القصة مع تحليله تحليلا نقديا، ثم الخاتمة. يستخدم الباحث المنهج التحليلي الوصفي لمناسبته لهذه الدراسة في حشد النصوص وتحليلها. وتختتم المقالة بأن القصة " الضأن الأسود" تصور الجنسية الصادقة عن المجتمع النيجيري من حيث الأسماء والأمثال والأماكن والآلات والتحايا المحلية وغيرها. وبناء على هذا، يلاحظ الباحث الفجوة الجسيمة في استعمال بعض الأمثال والتعبيرات المحلية التي كانت في أشد الحاجة إلى التغيير والتحسين. أخيرا، تقترح المقالة إلى أن القصة العربية تحتاج إلى التشجيع لتطوير الأفكار النيجيرية، وثقافاتها وتقاليدها ليس للقراء النيجيريين فحسب، بل لقراء اللغة العربية في العالم كله.

Local Content is an aspect of Critical Study in Literature. Arabic literature in Nigeria has come a long existence in Nigerian society for a long period of time. Meanwhile, Arabic Story came to lime-light at the end of the last century. However, preliminary Study on Arabic Stories indicate that the potentiality in deriving the Local Content from such Stories are not giving the deserving attention. Therefore, there is disconnect between Literary Art and the Nigerian Society in some aspects situation that requires attention. The main concern of this work is: introducing the concept of Local Content in respect of Arabic Literature, a brief biography of the writer (Alyaqooty), explaining the Content of the Story, identifying and classifying of aspect of Local Content in the Story. This will be followed by critical analysis of the selected data and conclusion. The researcher adopts Descriptive method in analyzing this work, because of its relevance and suitability. The work concludes that Story (The Black Sheep) portrays a true Nationalism in the aspect of the use of Local names, proverbs, residential Areas, instruments, greetings among others. However, there is a mix-up in the use of some proverbs, and expressions which require some modifications. Finally, this work recommends that Arabic Stories should be encouraged to further promote Nigerian ideology, cultural and anthropology contents not for the Nigerian readers only, but also for Arabic readers worldwide.
