Abstract

This study focused on the need for retirement training on financial management skills as a predator for a healthy financial autonomy of personnel in the education sector in Bayelsa State, as they disengage from active service. This paper concluded with vital recommendations that, government should provide adequate training programmes on financial management skills, to enhance personnel’s knowledge on saving and investment for a perfect financial autonomy towards retirement.
