Abstract

In this paper, sensitivity analysis of disease-free equilibrium of dengue fever transmission dynamics with mild and severe compartments incorporating two-dose primary vaccine is carried out. The model considered the human population  and the vector population , which were further subdivided into eight classes. The model Disease Free Equilibrium (DFE) was obtained and analysed for stability. The effective reproduction number  for the model was also computed and the result shows Locally Asymptotically Stable (LAS) when  and Globally Asymptotically Stable (GAS) when  at dengue free equilibrium, otherwise unstable whenever.
